When you're ready, head throughout the entire Central area of Storage and cleanse it of enemies so we can explore unhindered. Make sure to use cover to avoid their projectiles or get beneath them so they can't hit you. The Flier Bots are a particular pain here, and it's best to use the Shotgun or a similarly powerful weapon to take them down fast as they deal a lot of damage. Instead, pick your favourite ranged weapon and pick them off while behind cover. Annoyingly considering these are both flying enemies, we can't use the new laser rapier we grabbed in the previous section. The two main foes we're going to encounter are Flier Bots and Avian Mutants. Once you exit the elevator here, you're immediately going to get bombarded by tons of new enemies we've never seen before. As soon as you do, you'll be contacted by Anna Parovski, who will ask you to come find her and the rest of the Citadel Station survivors on The Bridge so she can prep you for taking down Shodan. Pulling out all the stops, the Hacker battles his way across the Bridge, learning that Shodan can only be defeated in Cyberspace and hatching a new plan to hack the computers using a specially built chip so he can face her.Īfter several high-stakes battles, he successfully enters Cyberspace and defeats Shodan, cueing our big ending.After hitting the Storage button in the elevator, you'll arrive on Level 4. Now it's just him, Shodan and an army of cyborgs, mutants and robots. He makes it just in time, with the ship exploding just as he reaches The Bridge and launches to safety. The Hacker then makes a daring ascent to The Bridge, heading through the enemy-filled corridors of Security and finally putting Edward Diego down for good in an explosive battle outside the elevator to The Bridge. She tells The Hacker to head to The Bridge, as it'll detach when the ship explodes, saving his life. She wants him to die with the ship as he's ruined her plans, but Rebecca has other ideas. ![]() ![]() The Hacker learns the self-destruct code and initiates the protocol, boarding an escape pod after another run-in with Edward Diego, however, Shodan stops him. Mutants roam the corridors, Cyborgs patrol rooms chanting about a mysterious overlord and Robots are rising from the floors of the ship to destroy anything human.Īfter stopping Shodan's plans, Rebecca tells The Hacker that the only way to fully stop Shodan is to destroy Citadel Station, starting a new plan to initiate the vessel's self-destruct sequence in the reactor. He wakes up months later with a new neural implant, but something is terribly wrong. The Hacker accomplishes his task, but is drugged directly after. If he can hack into and disable the ethical restraints of Citadel Station's hyper-powerful AI, Shodan, then he'll drop the charges and throw in the implant the Hacker tried to steal for free. There, he meets Edward Diego, a shady TriOptimum executive and the Vice President of Citadel Station. While attempting to steal a cybernetic implant from an infamous megacorp named TriOptimum, the Hacker is caught red-handed and taken to a space vessel known as Citadel Station. Our protagonist is a nameless hacker living in a crowded futuristic city, attempting to get by stealing tech from powerful companies.
